Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in the JumpInside Games Award voting process operated by TraxonMedia LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). By submitting a vote, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the conditions outlined below.

1. Eligibility & General Voting Rules

1.1. To participate in the voting process, each voter must submit one valid email address. This requirement ensures the integrity of the voting system and helps us verify that each vote is genuine.

1.2. All votes must be cast personally by the individual voter. Votes submitted on behalf of another person without their permission are not permitted.

1.3. By voting, you confirm that you are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under the age of 13, and any votes submitted by users below this age that are found out will be removed along with any associated data.

2. Email Collection & Verification

2.1. When you vote, you consent to providing your email address solely for the purpose of vote verification.

2.2. Your email will be used exclusively for identifying duplicate or fraudulent votes and validating voter authenticity.

2.3. We do not use voter email addresses for marketing, newsletters, promotions, or any purpose unrelated to the Awards vote verification process.

2.4. Any votes found to be duplicated, automated, or suspicious will be removed from the final tally without notice.

3. Fair Voting Policy

3.1. To promote fairness, a Skip option is included for categories where voters may not recognise or be familiar with the nominated games.

3.2. This feature ensures that participants are never pressured into selecting a nominee they do not know, protecting the accuracy and legitimacy of the final results.

3.3. We strongly encourage voters to only cast a vote when they feel confident and informed about the nominees.

4. Voting Window

4.1. Voting opens at 00:01 (GMT+0) on December 1st and closes at 23:59 (GMT+0) on December 10th.

4.2. Any votes cast outside this time period will not be counted in the final results.

4.3. Time and date calculations adhere strictly to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+0).

5. JumpInside Games Award Year Definition

5.1. The JumpInside Award Year operates on a December–November cycle rather than the traditional January–December calendar year. This ensures that voters will have already had sufficient time to experience the games released within that period. December releases are automatically carried over into the following Award Year so they do not face an unfair disadvantage due to limited playtime before voting opens.

5.2. The Award Year runs from 00:01 on December 1st 2024 to 23:59 on November 30th 2025 (and follows the same structure annually).

5.3. Only games released, updated, or otherwise relevant within this defined timeframe are eligible for nomination. Games or content released outside of this period may still qualify for specific categories—such as update awards, downloadable content awards, or upcoming game awards—provided that the update or DLC was released within the current Award Year, or the game is officially scheduled for release in the following year. Any titles that fall outside these conditions will not be eligible for voting.

6. Rights & Final Decisions

6.1. TraxonMedia LTD and JumpInside Games reserve the right to adjust, amend, or correct any aspect of the Awards process, including vote verification steps, award category details, and final editing of results or presentations.

6.2. Any such decisions will be made with fairness and transparency in mind, and our interpretation of the rules is final.

6.3. We may, if necessary, disqualify votes or modify the voting structure to maintain the integrity of the awards.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

7.1. Your data is handled in accordance with GDPR (general data protection principles.)

7.2. Email addresses are securely stored and deleted once the verification process and Awards event are complete.

7.3. We do not share voter data with third-party organisations.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the voting process, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from voting.
